Personal self-management

A calm, offline companion for your day.

Protocol Companion is a private tracker that lives on your phone. No accounts. No cloud. No ads. You keep your notes.

About

Protocol Companion is a personal self-management app. It helps you keep a simple daily checklist, log how you are, and prepare a summary you can take to an appointment. It is designed for people who want a quiet tool that does not demand energy or an internet connection.

The app is inspired by a published three-component self-management approach (pain control, inflammation support, and regenerative measures). It is an educational checklist and documentation aid. It is not affiliated with any estate, clinic, or foundation.

  • On your device

Everything you enter stays on the phone or tablet you installed the app on.

  • No cloud

There is no server copy of your notes, no backup we hold, and no sign-in.

  • No accounts

We do not create user profiles, mailing lists, or identity records.

  • No ads or trackers

The app does not show advertising and does not sell data.

Medical disclaimer

Protocol Companion is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

It is a personal self-management and documentation tool. It does not provide medical advice, prescribe medication, or replace care from a qualified clinician. Always discuss treatment decisions with your doctor. If you think you may have a medical emergency, seek emergency care.

Privacy policy

Effective 27 August 2026. This policy applies to the Protocol Companion mobile app and this website.

1. Who we are

Protocol Companion is an independent personal app. This website exists so you can read the medical disclaimer and this privacy policy. We do not operate user accounts or a cloud service for the app.

2. Summary

The app is built to keep your information on your device. We do not collect, receive, or store your health notes on our servers. We do not require a login. We do not show ads. We do not sell personal information.

3. Information we do not collect

We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or payment details. We do not run analytics SDKs, crash-reporting services, or social logins in the app. This website does not ask you to create an account.

4. Information stored on your device

Anything you enter in the app (checklists, notes, symptom logs, summaries you generate) is stored locally on that device. We cannot see it. If you use an optional export or share feature, that file leaves the app only because you chose to save or send it. We do not receive a copy.

5. This website

This page is a public information site. It does not require a login. We do not use it to gather health data. Hosting and delivery of this page may involve standard technical logs (for example, IP address and browser type) held by the hosting provider for security and operation of the site. Those logs are not used to identify you as an app user and are not combined with app data, because we have no app data.

6. Permissions

The app is designed to work offline. It does not need an account or cloud permission. If a future version requests a system permission (for example, to save a file you export), it will be used only for that action you start.

7. Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade personal information. There are no advertising partners and no data brokers. We may disclose information only if required by law and only if we actually hold it — which, for app notes, we do not.

8. Children

Protocol Companion is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your choices and deletion

You control what you enter. You can edit or delete entries in the app. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the app’s storage in your device settings, removes the locally stored notes. We cannot recover them after that, because we never held a copy.

10. Security

Because notes stay on your device, security depends on how you protect that device (passcode, biometrics, and not sharing the handset). We do not transmit your notes to our servers.

11. International users

The app processes information on the device where you install it. We do not transfer your app notes across borders because we do not receive those notes.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.

13. Contact

For privacy questions about Protocol Companion, use the contact email on the app’s store listing. Please do not send clinical questions; we cannot provide medical advice.

To remove all app data from a device: open system settings, clear storage for Protocol Companion, or uninstall the app.
